Hypnotherapy

Hypnotherapy is a Journey Toward Wholeness
Hypnotherapy is a process of uncovering the deepest thoughts and emotions that have created your identity over time. This past programming becomes our identity which defines who we are. The process of hypnotherapy releases this hold on your subconscious.
Through this process, we will explore and redefine your beliefs through a higher, more insightful perspective as they have affected your thoughts and emotions in your everyday life.
Hypnotherapy can help you
- Change faulty thoughts
- Replace unwanted habits and behaviors
- Overcome false childhood beliefs
- Conquer addictions and bad habits
- Heal from negatively impacted life
What is Hypnotherapy?
Hypnosis is the induction of a relaxed state of mind called a trance state, in which your conscious (thinking) mind is relaxed, and your subconscious mind is opened. This trance state promotes communication between your subconscious and conscious mind.
Hypnotherapy is a clinical and therapeutic process that uses hypnosis to achieve the desired results.
Your conscious mind is not very receptive to change or new information – and when you try and change to more positive habits … often the old patterns soon return. Your conscious mind often argues with itself and tries to block you from making the changes you need to to create a better life.
Your subconscious is where your deepest thoughts, memories, and emotions – your core beliefs, values and morals – as well as your intuitive and creative self is all stored.
The hypnosis process helps you bypass the hardened habits of thought and the critical filters of your conscious mind.
And the stored intuition of your subconscious mind – your own inner wisdom – is highly receptive to transformation when we can access it together.
I Practice Transpersonal Hypnotherapy
There are many forms of hypnotherapy, including cognitive hypnoanalysis, Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP), solution focused, suggestion and traditional.
My holistic training through Delphi University combines clinical neurolinguistics integrated within trans-hypnotherapy to help connect body, mind and spirit. Joining all parts of the self, including the spiritual, higher self.
Through this integration we will embrace the higher dimensional realities (the superconscious) along with the clinical. As we reach the super conscious, we’re accessing higher information to take a closer look at your self-limiting beliefs, strengths, and weaknesses. Through this altered hypnotic state and the intersecting of higher resources, we will bring resolution between the different parts of yourself.
With a series of consistent sessions, you can develop true willpower and techniques to cope with, overcome or move past any specific unwanted behaviors.
My Hypnotherapy Process
Typically, I start a hypnotherapy session by interviewing you, where I introduce and explain the process and we can relax together and be comfortable.
When the actual hypnotherapy session begins I will use an invocation with a gentle, soothing voice to help you begin entering a relaxed state.
Then I’ll follow this with various techniques to deepen the meditative trance.
As the session progresses I will check the depth of your relaxation with simple techniques such as lifting your wrist to test your response. Keep in mind that some people respond to relaxation exercises more easily than others.
While in this relaxed and heightened state of awareness, I will guide you through the process and a dialogue unfolds between us that begins to reframe old beliefs and patterns with healthy, positive suggestions.
As you attend more sessions, your new abilities to go inward and align with your true beliefs and goals will be stored in your unconscious mind.
Once these abilities are revealed, positive suggestive dialogue follows, allowing new thoughts into your everyday thinking. I will also teach you to use visualization meditation skills and harmonious self correction practices, and to utilize symbols and affirmations to cope with and overcome your everyday challenges.
Recommended Sessions for Hypnotherapy Results
A single hypnotherapy session usually lasts 1.5 hours.
Individual needs will vary, but I generally recommend 3 -5 sessions @ $125 per session.
A consultation between a hypnotherapist and client is much like a partnership: we both gain understanding as to your specific needs – and this is what will determine how many sessions it should take for you to start seeing improvements.

What is transpersonal hypnotherapy?
Transpersonal hypnotherapy is an enlightening and liberating approach toward personal development and growth, embracing and connecting to your personal sense of who you truly are.
Transpersonal hypnotherapy is a more holistic approach than traditional hypnotherapy: we will work with your mind, body and spirit holistically to integrate your spiritual self – to connect all the parts of yourself.
Through this integration we will embrace the higher dimensional realities along with the clinical: the super conscious (spirit). Through this altered hypnotic state and the intersecting of higher resources we will bring resolution.
With transpersonal hypnotherapy we can develop willpower and use cognitive skills and techniques to cope with, overcome or move past a specific unwanted behavior.
You conscious mind doesn’t really connect with your stress, limiting behaviors, addictions, or blocks to enhancing your creative self. Our subconscious is where our deepest thoughts, memories, and emotions – our core beliefs, values and morals – as well as our intuitive and creative selves are stored.
And this stored intuition – this innate wisdom – is highly receptive to transformation.
Your conscious mind is not very receptive to change or new information. Your conscious mind often argues with itself and tries to block you from making the changes you need to to create a better life.

Through the superconscious we will access higher information to take a closer look at your self-limiting beliefs, your strengths and weaknesses.
With transpersonal hypnotherapy we can develop willpower and use harmonious self correction techniques to cope with, overcome or move past a specific unwanted behavior.
I’ll interview you before your session, and we can begin establishing a trusting rapport together.
Can anyone be hypnotized? How do I know it will work for me?
If you can daydream, you can be hypnotized. So, technically anyone can enter a trance state.
The truth is that we are always in a state of hypnosis – similar to being in two places at the same time.
For example: Imagine driving your car or being on the subway for a long time, and on arriving at your destination you don’t remember how you got there.
Being asleep, reading a book, or watching a movie are all examples of trance states: it’s a state of being disconnected from your present mind.
We can be in trance states of consciousness when we are thinking about something that is bothering us, as we become transfixed on the thought or experience.
We are in a constant state of hypnosis in our everyday life. Subconscious programming from your parents dialogue when you were growing up – to your boss, coworkers and other people in your work environment – to the television, media, and constant advertising. We are constantly downloading new information.
In cases where a person has a psychological block that associates negative experiences and beliefs about control, this can cause resistance to relaxation.
However, hypnotherapy is actually about you gaining more control over yourself. Not the other way around.
You’ll feel what you want to feel and become empowered once you realize this through hypnotic trance. When you can calm your over thinking mind you’ll become much more open to positive suggestion.
Will I be conscious while I’m in a hypnotic state? Will I lose control?
While you’re in a hypnotic trance, you’ll have the same control you would out of trance. A hypnotic subject can’t be made to do anything they wouldn’t be willing to do ordinarily.
You’ll be aware of everything around you.
Always remember: you must be willing and open in order to be hypnotized. It’s always voluntary, and if it’s not the process won’t work. There’s no danger in hypnosis.
If you do fall asleep a gentle suggestion or slight tap on the wrist will wake you up.
Hypnosis creates a deep relaxation of letting go. We all have stored memories and repressed emotions that will be accessed through trance work, regression techniques and the power of suggestion that work together to re-map your way of seeing yourself and the choices you make.
Self hypnosis is also a tool that anyone can utilize. I can train you to do this between our sessions.
